We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Officer / Senior Officer – Accounts to manage and support overall accounting functions in close collaboration with both the international project team and local stakeholders. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting accounts payable and receivable activities, assisting in closing processes, and ensuring all financial transactions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Purpose:
To ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by performing timely reconciliations, monitoring receivables and payables, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The role aims to maintain compliance with accounting standards, resolve discrepancies, and contribute to efficient financial operations within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly classified.
Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
Reconcile vendor statements with company records.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payables.
Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate recording of incoming payments.
Monitor customer aging and follow up on overdue balances.
Assist in resolving customer billing disputes.
