Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidates should have Graduate (BSc in Textile Engineering preferable) with minimum 2nd class or equivalent CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Silk production
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement and monitor of silk production process
∎ Monitor and improve of silk dyeing process and control dyeing chemical quality
∎ Improve silk weaving and dyeing quality
∎ Ensure the supply of silk products timely as per Aarong products
∎ Provide technical support to the producers for all types of raw materials sourcing like silk yarn, dyeing materials and other raw materials
∎ Maintain co-ordination with silk producers, Aarong design, quality control and other related departmentrs
∎ Accomplish fabrics costing and QC requisition
∎ Perform any other task as and when required by the management
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge in textile design, yarn types and category, weaving process, fabric type and category, silk dyeing process and quality of dyeing materials and mercenaries for silk twisting and weaving
∎ Must have computer knowledge
∎ Should know fabrics production process and quality control including raw materials sourcing
∎ Should have self-awareness, relationship building, reporting and analytical ability, self-driven and result oriented
∎ Have to work under pressure
