Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Engineering in Fisheries ,Agriculture, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Fisheries, Agriculture
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing, organizing & supervising whole fisheries farm.
∎ Take responsibility to regular operation, feeding and medicine for the fishes of the plant.
∎ Supervising and providing related aquaculture training to fisheries workers.
∎ To take necessary step for fish selling.
∎ Maintain water quality and check water quality regularly.
∎ Ensuring and caring for the right amount of fish food.
∎ To identify fisheries problems and to take necessary step for effective solutions.
∎ Prepare budgets, statements of works, contracts, payment requests and purchase orders as needed.
∎ Conduct studies on fish population, growth, migration and mortality in connection to surface water quality.
∎ Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
∎ Soil fertility testing - Before plantation field soil should be tested to know the soil parameter and nutrients level.
∎ Seed / plant selection - Buy/collect seed from well-known companies.
∎ Planning for Planting with Fertilizer application, Weeding, Pest and disease control, Watering, Management of hazardous materials handling and disposal.
∎ Guidance- Organize and direct the work of subordinate personnel.
∎ Monitoring and Maintenance - Monitor the total work. Maintain the equipment, materials and monitor the techniques. Supervision and administration of activities on farm estates.
∎ Budgeting - budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records.
∎ Organizing sales and purchases of livestock, farm equipment, plant and agricultural products
∎ Handling paperwork and keeping administrative records
∎ Making sure that work progresses satisfactorily
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Able to work under pressure.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills and decision-making ability.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality with leadership skill.
Salary: Negotiable
