• Fluent in both written and spoken English is a must.

Alfamart, a leading Indonesian international convenience store chain and one of the largest in its home country, is entering the Bangladesh retail market through a joint venture with Kazi Farms Limited, under the name Alfamart Trading Bangladesh. With an ambitious vision to set new benchmarks in retail customer experience, the project is currently in its pre-opening phase. To be part of this exciting journey, we are seeking a competent IT Officer/ Executive to oversee and coordinate all functions in close collaboration with both the Indonesian project team and local stakeholders.

Job Purpose:

The IT Officer/ Executive is responsible for supporting IT operations, maintaining hardware and software systems, assisting in system rollouts, and ensuring operational IT efficiency. This role provides hands-on support to staff and assists in implementing IT processes to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networking) for new store, warehouse, and office openings.

• Support testing and trial runs of new applications to ensure smooth roll out.

• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and minor repairs of hardware and software in stores, warehouses, and offices.

• Provide on-site and remote support to store, warehouse, and office employees in operating IT systems and applications.

• Assist in planning and executing monthly store visits for IT checks and support.

• Deliver basic training and guidance to staff on common IT issues and processes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational IT issues.

• Help maintain data security and confidentiality according to company ISMS policies.

Remuneration will be offered depending upon the profile of the candidate.
