Responsibilities & Context:
  • Monitor retailer credit limits and outstanding receivables.

  • Ensure timely collection of payment from cement retailers and distributions.

  • Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, visits and written communication.

  • Maintain accurate records of collections, dues and aging reports.

  • Coordinate with sales and finance team to solve payment issues.

  • Assess retailer creditworthiness before extending or revising credit limits.

  • Identify high-risk accounts and recommended corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and payment terms

  • Minimize bad debts and overdue exposure.

  • Maintain professional relationship with retailer while enforcing payment discipline.

  • Negotiate payment schedule or settlements when required.

  • Handle payment disputes, deductions or short payments.

  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly recovery status reports.

  • Track bounced cheque, delayed payment, and legal cases.

  • Support legal or arbitration actions for chronic defaulters.

  • Conduct retailer site visits for recovery and verification.

  • Conduct with legal teams for notices, agreements and recovery actions exposure.
