Education:

• Minimum Graduation in Computer Science, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Information & Communication Technology (ICT) and Software Engineering from any reputed Public, Private or Foreign University.

• Age At most 32 years

• Ability to work independently at 24/7 SOC and on roster basis within a team in an agile development environment.

• Highly motivated and hard worker.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Willing to adopt new technologies.

The Bank with an excellent working environment and corporate culture is looking for smart, self-motivated and energetic candidates with requisite qualifications for recruitment as Officer (Contractual) for Security Operations Center (SOC) under the Bank’s IT Security Department, Corporate Head Office, Dhaka.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide necessary support to the Security Operations Centre (SOC) of the Bank;

• Continuously monitor the security alerts and proactively analyse potential security incidents/ threats and ensure quick and efficient responses to any threats as per SOC policies, procedures, guidelines and industry standards/practices adopted by the bank;

• Analyse logs from security tools to deify patterns and anomalies;

• Implement security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors. risk management. incident management etc.;

• Develop and suggests strategies and control measures to minimize social engineering and phishing attacks;

• Collect global threat intelligence and internal threats whilst taking actions based on analysis and recommendation;

• Evaluate the current Information Security posture and take corrective actions to minimize the gaps;

• Fine-tune SIEM rules and other security infrastructure to reduce false positive and remove false negatives;

• Collaborate with the IT and Security Teams to contain and remediate incidents;

• Assist in developing and refining incident response procedures;

• Perform periodic vulnerability assessments and liaise with respective teams to ensure the vulnerabilities are fixed;

• Maintain OWASP top 10 coding security best practices while ensuring zero high rated Audit and Risk findings;

• Generate reports on security events incidents and recommendations for remediation;

• Stay updated on emerging threats vulnerabilities and attack techniques.

• Only short listed candidates will be called for written test and interview. The finally selected candidates will be paid a consolidated salary of Tk.28,000.00 per month.
