Master degree in any discipline, preferably Urban Planning, Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Studies, Economics or BSc in Engineering Preferably Civil, Chemical Water Resource Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the development sector.
Sound knowledge on municipal working mechanism and dealing LGI and govt, representatives.
Experience in waste management works along with a sustainable business.
Past records to work with sanitation workers and process to transform informal sanitation workers to formalize groups·
Familiar with social business around the waste management and coaching/mentoring sanitation workers towards engaging in the business·
Skills to demonstrate capacity building material preparation, event delivery, monitoring and recording, knowledge management and dissemination works·
Experience in administrative works and local office management·
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to set priorities.
Good English writing, analytical, communication, and report writing skills.·
Excellent knowledge on computer usage specially in MS office, Outlook and other software·
Good ability to work with multicultural team.
Willing and able to travel independently outside station.

Responsibilities & Context: Programmatic Responsibilities:
- S/he will coordinate with Municipal Council, Standing Committees, TLCC, WCs, GOs, NGOs, Business and Financing Organizations at district/city level.
- S/he will build rapport and professional relation with the relevant district chapter of District Administration, DPHE, LGED, DAE, DoE, Local government, Civil society, Private organizations, and Individuals.
- S/he will support in formation and/or reformation and upgradation of waste worker’s cooperatives and women adaptation lab, contracting and linkage with LGIs for service delivery.
- S/he will coordinate project’s all activities in the work areas throughout the whole project cycle (identification and formulation, preparation of agreements and contracts, follow up of implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and dissemination of results).
- S/he will provide facilitate associate support from local stakeholders to necessary approval to conduct CRMC, development of women’s adaptation lab, coordination for development of LLAP (locally led adaptation plan)·
- S/he will provide coordinate in establishing the system to ensure (Solid Waste, Faecal Waste and Plastic Waste) recycling.
- S/he will support and facilitate to design, organize and facilitate different trainings, advocacy and lobbying meeting with relavant stake holders.
- S/he will monitor project progress and quality; and report on project as a core part of continuous learning throughout the project lifetime.
- S/he will maintain coordination with other NGOs/organizations and stakeholders linking with other development projects with Municipality emphasis on LLAP, CRMC and formulating different documents, guideline and will maintain close linkages with slum dwellers, low-income urban communities to ensure effective and equitable service system.
- S/he will be responsible to facilitate the data collection/study at field level, data compilation and provide inputs to prepare case studies, other communication, knowledge products and reporting independently and/or in groups.
- Support to capture learning and dissemination in external platform and other Regional/Country offices of Practical Action·
- Have to travel frequently for project implementation at both working areas.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- S/he will support in organisational administrative works at local level in coordination with country office people and culture department, finance department and general support service department.
- S/he will be responsible for collecting certificates/approvals/acknowledgements from local level government departments (i.e. DC Certificate).
- S/he will be responsible for effective financial management in accordance with organisational policies at the local level.
