• Assist in identifying, negotiating, and finalizing vessel charters for cargo transportation.

• Maintain and update chartering databases, vessel schedules, and market intelligence reports.

• Drive and implement operational excellence initiatives to optimize efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance overall organizational performance within Akij Resources

• Coordinate with operations, trading, and logistics teams to ensure smooth cargo delivery.

• Monitor vessel performance, arrival, and departure schedules to avoid operational delays.

• Support cost analysis, freight rate negotiations, and charter party compliance.

• Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and agents.

• Prepare and submit periodic reports on chartering activities, vessel performance, and market trends.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and safety standards.
