Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in identifying, negotiating, and finalizing vessel charters for cargo transportation.
Maintain and update chartering databases, vessel schedules, and market intelligence reports.
Drive and implement operational excellence initiatives to optimize efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance overall organizational performance within Akij Resources
Coordinate with operations, trading, and logistics teams to ensure smooth cargo delivery.
Monitor vessel performance, arrival, and departure schedules to avoid operational delays.
Support cost analysis, freight rate negotiations, and charter party compliance.
Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and agents.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on chartering activities, vessel performance, and market trends.
Ensure compliance with company policies, maritime regulations, and safety standards.
