Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition with Information management system experience/ background. MPH/Msc Bio statistics an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee all NIS staff in nutrition sector/department including, trainings, regular performance evaluations (together with Centre supervisor), work schedules, review of reporting templates etc.
∎ Training of newly inducted staff on NIS, and Nutrition Center of Expertise CMAM data base. Donor and nutrition sector reporting forms. Staff Refresher trainings for existing staff as needed.
∎ Timely collection of field data, review of the data, compilation, data analysis, cleaning and submission and sharing with management. Presentation of data, program trends during teams weekly, monthly meetings and giving feedback on how to improve data quality.
∎ Review of the internal data flow system, monitoring of data quality at point of generation, updating of all type of internal and external reporting.
∎ Development and implementation of The Nutrition Information System (NIS) and tools ensuring that they utilized to provide quality timely and technically accurate data.
∎ Ensuring that Program data is updated at all times and is readily available for quick reference by other team members such as M&E, Management etc.
∎ In collaboration with communications team, compile CMAM/IYCF/CMAMI/Mother lead MUAC success stories from the field. Include storage of these stories.
∎ Coordination with MOH, UNCEF, WFP, WHO, Nutrition Sector and any other stakeholders involved in nutrition at district and provincial level and calls for ad hoc meetings when necessary.
∎ Coordinates with the nutrition authorities (including Nutrition Sector ) at Cox Bazar level
∎ To participate in preparing different NS reports and analysis presentations including quality of care indicators/sphere standards as required for the management
∎ Should build and maintain effective relationships, with their team, colleagues, members, external partners and supporters
∎ Any other tasks as ordered by his supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least two years of progressively responsible support experience including at least two years in the field of Nutrition (CMAM, IYCF, CMAMI), with at least on year experience in information management, databases management, statistics and Nutrition sector reporting.
∎ At least one year work experience in nutritional data field with an NGO.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
∎ Very good written and spoken English
