Job Context:
∎ We are looking for an experienced National sales manager to contribute to our company`s sales objectives.
∎ Your responsibilities include supervising the sales team and building long-term client relationships.
∎ As a National sales manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth.
∎ Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
∎ Ultimately, you should aspire to develop and maintain successful relationships with large customers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
∎ Collaborate with the executive team to develop sales strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
∎ Identify market opportunities, analyze customer needs, and create effective sales plans to achieve targets.
∎ Train & motivate the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets. Provide guidance and support to team members, set clear sales objectives, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
∎ Establish and nurture strong relationships with Doctors, Chemist including healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors. Understand their needs, address inquiries, and provide product information and support.
∎ Negotiate and close agreements with large customers or institutions.
∎ Track sales metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to evaluate performance against targets. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
∎ Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales activities and results.
∎ Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align sales efforts with promotional activities, and operational processes. Provide feedback from the field to help refine marketing strategies and improve product offerings.
∎ Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
∎ Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and potential threats.
∎ Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
∎ Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
∎ Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
∎ Develop and manage the sales budget, including sales forecasts, expense budgets, and resource allocation.
∎ Optimize resource utilization and ensure cost-effective sales operations.
∎ Ensure sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including ethical practices.
∎ Foster a culture of integrity and professionalism within the sales team.
∎ Train and develop sales forces in order to improve individual sales performance.
∎ Ensuring sustainable growth of market share.
∎ Monitor Distributor wise damage control, make cause analysis and take initiatives on adjustment of damage in consultation with the Sales Head, Sales Admin and Accounts Department.
∎ Monitor and follow up on market data and information on a regular basis (Competitors and Own).
∎ Ensure zone wise profitability.
∎ Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 40 years

∎ Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, products, and market dynamics.
∎ Proven work experience as a National sales manager.
∎ Knowledge of software and Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
∎ Strong communication and team management skills.
∎ Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
∎ Availability to travel as needed.
∎ BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field.
