Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters or bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Science, Development Studies, Statistics, English or other related discipline)

Job Context:
∎ Employment Duration: 1st November 2023 to 31st March 2026
∎ ASTHA is a Swiss Government funded project which will be supported by Rupantar and will be implemented in Netrokona, Mymensingh & Sherpur districts by Sabalamby Unnayan Samity (SUS).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Monitoring and Reporting Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective monitoring, data analysis and reporting of project interventions. This role is associated with a range of responsibilities that are essential for tracking project progress, ensuring compliance with established standards and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
∎ Review monitoring frameworks, systems and tools to track and assess the progress of the project.
∎ Monitor the implementation of various interventions ensuring compliance with established standards, guidelines and objectives.
∎ Conduct regular field visits to support the team in project operations.
∎ Gather relevant information for monitoring progress and process assessment.
∎ Collect and compile data from various sources and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
∎ Analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement, potential risks and opportunities for interventions.
∎ Prepare reports on the status, performance and impact of projects.
∎ Interpret data to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
∎ Maintain reporting templates, guidelines and documentation procedures.
∎ Present findings and reports to management, donors or other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Ensure timely submission of reports and compliance with reporting requirements.
∎ Establish and maintain databases or information systems to store and manage beneficiaries' details and other monitoring data.
∎ Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting regular data verification and validation.
∎ Develop data visualization tools, charts and graphs to facilitate data analysis and reporting.
∎ Identify and document lessons learned, best practices and success stories.
∎ Contribute to knowledge management and organizational learning by sharing findings and recommendations.
∎ Collaborate with project teams, partners and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and information sharing.
∎ Participate in meetings, workshops and other relevant forums to contribute to program planning and decision-making processes.
∎ Assist cluster coordinator in maintaining communication with various types of stakeholders.
∎ Identify and assess risks, including operational, logistical and resource-related risks.
∎ Review the risk matrix and develop necessary mitigation plans.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Proven experience in monitoring and reporting in development or humanitarian contexts.
∎ Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in data management software and tools.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English.
∎ Proficiency in report writing and presentation
∎ Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate with various stakeholders.
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills
∎ Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation techniques is a plus.

Salary:
∎ BDT: 60000/- (Negotiable).
