Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ The CBM-supported project "Enhancing Community Based Inclusive Development in Bangladesh" aimed to create a model for Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) practices led by Local Government Institutions, service providers, and communities. The project sought to improve the living conditions of people with disabilities through their increased inclusion in local development services and opportunities. Efforts included sensitizing and mobilizing communities, forming collectives, and enhancing access to health services. Livelihood diversification and disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction initiatives were implemented to improve economic conditions and disaster resilience. The project also focused on building the skills of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) and partner NGOs, reviewing government policies, and facilitating national-level consultations to promote disability inclusion in planning processes. Ultimately, the project aimed to bring about policy and planning changes through the meaningful participation of persons with disabilities and OPDs. CDD Office is now accepting applications for Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Analyst . The project duration is up to 31 December 2023.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Accountant's major tasks will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following
∎ Lead the overall MEAL, which will include documentation process of the project
∎ Develop and/or update M&E tools, databases and reporting formats in close collaboration with the project coordinator.
∎ Communicate with Chattogram staff to collect quarterly monitoring data from field.
∎ Prepare project reports under the guidance of Project Coordinator
∎ Provide information as required by donor agency
∎ Review and update M&E plan of the project
∎ Compile collected monitoring data and analyze
∎ Prepare and finalize monitoring reports
∎ Collection of good practices and stories,
∎ Documentation of the good practices
∎ Facilitate effective implementation of Project Monitoring System.
∎ Facilitate that project maintaining essential standards and compliance requirements.
∎ Closely work with Project team members to document practices and draw lessons learnt.
∎ Carry out any internal evaluation and/or support external evaluation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 45 years
∎ 4-5 years proven working experience on project monitoring and documentation
∎ Have time management, leadership, analytical ability, multitasking, facilitation; communication, presentation, and report writing skills;
∎ Have adaptability, teamwork, relationship building, and change management skills;
∎ Advanced IT skills, Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Experience in Tally ERP 9 software
∎ Have outstanding skills and expertise in communicating by email and the internet.
∎ Ability to strictly follow project's MEAL Framework, data analysis and generate essential reports and analysis
∎ Orientation and acquaintance to different online software / platform, for example KOBO, Monkey Survey, etc. will be added value
∎ Capacity and proven track record on development of knowledge products - monitoring and / or internal evaluation reports, analytical reports, human interest / case stories, article for publication / social media
∎ Understanding and experience with data management, including database design.
∎ Proven experience of data analyzing, including both qualitative and quantitative methods using appropriate software.
∎ Competent and is able to produce reports on short-notice.
∎ Excellent in written & spoken communication in English and Bengali.
