The position will be based at Helvetas Bangladesh Country Office, Dhaka with frequent travels to the project areas of Bagerhat and Khulna Districts. The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist would be directly supervised by the Project Manager- Panii Jibon Project.onal culture and practice reflects our commitment to social change.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development and implementation of the Monitoring and Result Measurement System capturing the outputs, outcomes and impact of the project in collaboration with national partner organizations.
∎ Development and introduction of project tracking guidelines, tools and techniques to capture project data for assessment, monitoring, reporting and steering and learning.
∎ Development and implementation of a Learning and Knowledge Management System for the project.
∎ Capacity building of partner organizations in MRM system and development of MRM plans, data collection tools and procedures, data processing, and reporting.
∎ Coordination of regular reviews of progress towards targets inscribed in the logical framework.
∎ Facilitation of development of SWOT Analysis, evaluations, surveys and review designs and impact assessment studies.
∎ Analysis and documentation of data/information for progress reporting and strategic project steering.
∎ Facilitation of learning and reflection with and among partner organization.
∎ Documentation and dissemination of relevant learnings and findings
∎ Lead digitalized and innovative monitoring and evaluation for the project and climate change and disaster risk reduction programme
∎ Analyze monitoring and evaluation findings and recommendations and ensure learning and accountability according to monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning framework
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years of experience in the relevant field with reputed national and international NGOs
∎ Skilled in developing and implementing different monitoring and evaluation tools/ framework independently
∎ Skills on operating MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS, KOBO, ODK or others
∎ Knowledgeable and skilled in virtual application and different technologies for digital communication
∎ Good knowledge and experience on data management and report writing
∎ Good communication, facilitation, organizing and report writing skills
∎ Knowledge and experience on Climate Change & DRR project would be an added advantage
Salary:
∎ The employment contract is up to December 31, 2023 with attractive compensation and benefits, depending on related experiences and capacity of the selected candidate.
