Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Social sciences, Public Health & Nutrition, Statistics, Population Studies/Demography, Development Planning, information systems or any other related subject.

∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The job of MEL Coordinator is to provide regular support in data analysis for decision making, Joint Planning, Mentoring, Periodic Monitoring, Process Documentation, Reporting and Knowledge Management.
∎ Conduct field visits to monitor the field activities and report to Project Coordinator (PC)/ Deputy Project Coordinator (DPC) and management with field findings and way forward in consideration of joint implementation plan
∎ Database Management (preferably DHIS2 based), analysis and action planning for quality enhancement
∎ Assist in developing nutrition-related data collection tools, and training staff in their use and support team in monitoring progress towards nutrition-related project targets and outputs on a monthly, quarterly and half-yearly and yearly basis
∎ Provide hands on support to field team to collect routine data to regularly update project performance and also conduct data quality assessment in field sites for quality assurance purposes
∎ Coordinate project activities related to Skills and Learning Transfer to Other Implementation Partners and regular mentoring interventions
∎ Provide job support and guidance to the Upazilla, Union and Community level staff
∎ Support team to collect success stories and conduct learning events.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in design and implementation of MEAL systems, including qualitative and quantitative approaches to baselines, monitoring and evaluations is required
∎ Good working knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, Excel, etc.) is required, expertise in DHIS2 based database management is preferable.
∎ Expert data handling skills (classification, categorizing, tabulation etc.) and demonstrates diligence in data management
∎ Experience in maternal, child health and nutrition-based program
∎ Experience in working closely with GOB Health, Family Planning, LGI and development partners
∎ Excellent spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently.
∎ Computer skills: MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel, SPSS/STATA, familiarity with DHIS2, eLMIS and other digital MIS platforms, email and web browsing
∎ Willingness to travel across the project implementation areas
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: Tk. 58469 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ With TA support for field movement.
∎ Fringe benefits at a predetermined rate.
