Experience:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Medical Technology or Laboratory Medicine from a recognized institution.
Valid professional certification/registration where applicable.
Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and LIS (Laboratory Information System).
Ability to work under pressure and manage workload efficiently.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and emergency duties as assigned.
Job Summary:
A Medical Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory investigations accurately and efficiently to support patient diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention. The role includes working in Biochemistry & Immunology, Hematology, Microbiology, and Molecular Laboratory sections while maintaining international laboratory standards, quality control, and patient safety.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:-
Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures according to hospital protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
Ensure accurate sample collection, labeling, processing, and reporting.
Maintain proper documentation of laboratory records and test results.
Follow infection prevention, biosafety, and waste management guidelines.
Ensure quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures are properly maintained.
Report critical values and abnormal findings promptly to physicians or supervisors.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory reports.
Assist consultants, pathologists, and laboratory physicians in diagnostic services.
Participate in laboratory accreditation and continuous quality improvement activities.
Ensure proper stock management of reagents, kits, and laboratory consumables.
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laboratory environment.
Provide emergency laboratory support during critical situations and on-call duties when required.
