• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry

• Age 25 to 40 years

Specimen Collection & Handling:

• Collect patient samples (blood, urine, stool, CSF, etc.) properly.

• Ensure correct labeling, preservation, and transportation.

Laboratory Testing:

• Perform tests in Clinical Pathology & hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, serology, parasitology, etc.

• procedures (SOPs) during testing.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC):

• Maintain internal quality control (IQC) in all tests.

• Maintain external quality Control & assessment (EQA) programs attended.

• Verify results carefully to minimize errors.

Instrument & Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine calibration, Validation and maintenance of auto-analyzer, microscopes, auto calves, biosafety cabinet centrifuges, etc.

• Troubleshoot and arrange repair when equipment malfunctions.

Biosafety & Infection Control:

• Use PPE, manage biomedical waste, and apply biohazard symbols.

Result Interpretation & Reporting:

• Analyze and prepare accurate laboratory reports.

• Immediately inform physicians about critical or suspicious results.

Data Recording & Documentation:

• Record and store all test results in registers or computer systems.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Training & Supervision:

• Provide training to interns and new technologists. supervise junior staff members.

Ethics & Professionalism:

• Prioritize patient safety and health protection. maintain professional ethics and integrity in all duties.
