• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health project, programme, or Healthcare services, with at least 1 year of experience in Ultrasonography is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and provide all kinds of treatment, including ultrasonography in required patients and proper counselling to the patients at BRAC PHC and satellite camps, and follow-up of the patients, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards. Make sure the appropriate utilization of Primary Healthcare Centre and satellite camp activities for 6(six) days a week while ensuring client rights.

• Order and conduct appropriate tests, and assess the quality of the in-house lab investigations.

• Maintain regular coordination with the relevant Government, Local Govt., Professional bodies/agencies, and National & International organisations for the smooth and effective implementation of project activities.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of PHC; ensure cleanliness, safety & functionality of the centres and the equipment.

• Supervise the PHC staff, including the psychologist, paramedics, and field assistants. Support all technical training and arrange regular refresher training for technical staff.

• Ensure the quality of PHC (Autoclave & waste management) by regularly monitoring & supervision after providing the patient services, and also provide feedback to related staff to minimise the problem.

• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of medicine, medical & administrative supplies and equipment. Forward the approval of needed technical items, medicines and RDTs, USG film, papers or gel, etc. Prepare and manage timely requisitions and procurements for uninterrupted service delivery.

• Compile and submit regular monthly/quarterly reports as required by the projects, and use data to analyze trends and improve service quality.

• Maintain the OPD register and regularly follow up on all other registers for proper record-keeping, MPR (Monthly Performance Report), stock management, medicines and supplies using stock registers..

• Monitor centre-level expenses and maintain financial records in line with budgetary guidelines; regularly coordinate with Upazilla accounts officer for proper monitoring of all transactions.

• Documentation of all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to BRAC policies and procedures.

• Represents BRAC and programmes in different networks and alliances as appropriate. Also attend head office/ regional meetings and participate in the discussions, and provide technical clarifications on agenda items related to the programme.

• Analyse all performance reports of PHC and review the progress reports & provide feedback to the team members as appropriate.

• Perform any other tasks, responsibilities and assignments as and when necessary or determined by the higher authority/supervisor

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members, from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.

• Practice, promote and endorse the safeguarding policy among team members and ensure safeguarding standards are followed in every course of action.

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
