Job Context:
∎ Health and Education for All (HAEFA) is an international leader in providing healthcare to the underserved and most vulnerable populations in FDMN Camps, urban, semi-urban, and rural hard-to-reach areas.
∎ HAEFA`s compassionate medical team members use its technological innovations, a solar-powered electronic health record (EHR) system known as NIROG, for the management of chronic diseases, and a paperless see-and-treat cervical cancer screening and treatment programs.
∎ Using barcoded digital health cards and NIROG EHR, HAEFA has been providing screening, diagnosis, and treatment for hypertension, diabetes, asthma, malnutrition including anemia, pregnancy with complications (GDM, PET), tuberculosis (TB) to underprivileged people including ready-made-garment (RMG) factory workers, rickshaw pullers, and Rohingya FDMN (refugees).
∎ Using digital colposcopy and thermocoagulation, HAEFA has provided single-stop see-and-treat cervical cancer screening and treatment to more than 90,000 women (aged 30 to 60 years) in Kurigram and Cox`s Bazar since 2019.
∎ HAEFA provides training to medical teams, support staff, and patient populations on hygiene, nutrition, and family planning in order to foster lasting positive living conditions. In partnership with DGHS, Brown University, and Project HOPE, HAEFA is one of the leading organizations in Bangladesh, which have been having developed, launched, and trained thousands of healthcare workers in Clinical Management of COVID-19 and also on the Mental Health Support and Resilience ToT.
∎ Its major Mission is to empower the disadvantaged and displaced populations through sustainable health and educational approach.
∎ HAEFA envisions a Bangladesh where universal health coverage is accessible to underserved and vulnerable populations.
∎ HAEFA is looking for a BMDC-registered Medical Officer (MO) (Female doctors are highly encouraged) for the FDMN Camps, Cox`s Bazar Project.
∎ The MO should be self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn new diagnostic and treatment procedures and able to generate reports and promote health education while maintaining coordination with the community leaders, project stakeholders, and local government.
∎ Empathy for people from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds is considered a key quality at HAEFA.
∎ Need: 2 Female, 2 Male.
∎ 3 months Probationary Period.
∎ Duration of Contract: Initially 18 month (renewable).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations, monitoring and administering patient medication
∎ Assess and plan patient treatment and referral requirements.
∎ Promote health education to beneficiaries and coordinate with community leaders and other stakeholders.
∎ Coordinate and manage Local Government (CIC/RRRC), DGHS authorities, UN organizations, NGOs, and INGOs.
∎ Response to patients' medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and referral where necessary.
∎ Recommend patients for lab tests and analyze test results.
∎ Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
∎ Collect records and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports in NIROG Tab and database in a password-protected and HIPAA-compliant (patient confidentiality) manner.
∎ Conduct minor surgeries, and explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
∎ Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
∎ Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
∎ Participate in the supervision of medical camps training and seminars, and meetings.
∎ Assist reporting, and data recording, coordinate with the project team, and Dhaka office.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Project Coordinator and Country Director from time to time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills Required: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc, Corporate IT Support, IT Management.

Salary: Negotiable
