Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify mechanical issues and malfunctions.
∎ Use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root causes of problems.
∎ Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on a wide range of mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems.
∎ Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
∎ Complete service reports, work orders, and other documentation as required by company standards.
∎ Replace worn or damaged components and ensure proper functionality.
∎ Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
∎ Identify and address potential safety hazards promptly.
∎ Analyze complex mechanical issues and develop effective troubleshooting strategies.
∎ Collaborate with colleagues to find innovative solutions to challenging problems.
∎ Properly maintain and care for tools and equipment used in mechanical repairs.
∎ Report any damaged or malfunctioning tools for replacement or repair.
∎ Stay up-to-date with advances in mechanical technology and industry best practices.
∎ Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
∎ Collaborate with other mechanics, technicians, and engineers to achieve departmental goals.
∎ Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members when needed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a related industry.
∎ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
∎ Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
∎ Solid understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work safely in a shop or field environment.
∎ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
∎ Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
∎ Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
∎ Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and components.
