Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor / Master Degree in Statistics / Social sciences or related field.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Context:
∎ Duration: Duration of the contract will be up to 31st December 2025.
∎ Position Title: MEAL Officer under Improved Food Security Through Promotion of Climate Resilient Livelihoods and Disaster Preparedness for Communities in Chattogram and Cox`s Bazaar Districts Project.
∎ Job Location: Field Offices in Chakaria and Shitakunda

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct base line survey
∎ Develop M&E framework and tools for project implementation
∎ Track implementation of initiatives and ensure implementation of a regular planning cycle as of M&E Plan
∎ Develop community based M&E system and necessary tools for the same.
∎ Develop reporting format and template for the project
∎ Document the lessons learned and disseminate to concerned stakeholders
∎ Collect best practices and share with relevant stakeholders
∎ Orient project staff and community on M&E
∎ Capable of analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
∎ Work with the team in a supportive manner, assistants and project participants to ensure the effective operation of the Monitoring & Evaluation system and implementation
∎ Identifying a set of indicators for monitoring programs and activities
∎ Ensure the implementation of a regular planning cycle and the use of a common set of methods and tools and standards for program planning and implementation in project
∎ Ensure timely reporting (monthly, quarterly, six monthly and annually)
∎ Develop app - based monitoring system for ensuring remote monitoring
∎ Receive technical support from the WHH monitoring advisor
∎ Administer regular field visit for understanding the progress of the project
∎ Work under the direct supervision of the programme head of SEEP
∎ Update the programme head about the current progress/set back of the project

Additional Requirements:
∎ Preference will be given to the candidates having valid Motorcycle driving license
∎ Good knowledge and understanding of humanitarian principles.
∎ Proven track record of using Kobo tools, SPSS and other digital monitoring tools and apps
∎ Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
∎ Ability to work independently under stress and as a team player; in coordination with project staff and proven experience in working with disaster affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner.
∎ Knowledge of NGO Code of Conduct. Requires general finance, administration, information management and telecommunication skills and proficiency in information technology/ computer skills.
∎ An ability to write clear and concise reports; Case stories in Bangla and English
∎ Demonstrable project management and monitoring and evaluation skill
∎ Any other task assigned by the Project
