Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitoring tools develop to monitor and evaluate the project activities, data collection, compilation, analyze, documentation and report generation.
∎ Serve as the primary point person for monitoring all project activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project in his/her designated upazila.
∎ Develop a monitoring guideline and plan for the project in accordance with expected outputs.
∎ Develop necessary monitoring tools and formats to carry out regular project monitoring on behalf of the project process monitoring.
∎ Train and build capacity of project staffs/field officer and SHG members on the proper use of the monitoring tools, providing ongoing support through regular site monitoring visits, and ensure quality control and problem solving as needed.
∎ Maintain the project BNF database at upazila level to ensure it remains up-to-date for timely project reporting to the donor.
∎ Prepare and disseminate periodic monitoring reports on all project activities to the Project Coordinator and the donor.
∎ Suggest strategies to the Project Coordinator for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
∎ Attend and contribute in coordination meetings/project meetings and prepare report on findings and sharing.
∎ Proper documentation, collect anecdotes; prepare case studies on success stories due to Project interventions.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and six monthly progress reports incorporating both qualitative and quantitative reports and share them with all concerned.
∎ Facilitate and monitor to organize the project different training & capacity building events to the staff and beneficiaries level and reporting.
∎ Support to staff and external resource persons in preparing the evaluation guidelines, data collection, analysis and preparation of reports.
∎ Conduct regular field visits in the project areas and share feedback with all respective persons and management.
