Experience:
A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field from a recognized and accredited institution.
Prior teaching experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, specifically the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), is highly preferred.
O and A Level completed candidates will be given preference.
Having M.Ed / B.Ed degree will be given preference.
Completion of official IB training is an added advantage.
Having IB (International Baccalaureate) MYP/DP curriculum training and experience will be given high preference.
Good command of English for teaching.
Experience with the IB curriculum is a plus.
At least 3 to 5 years of teaching experience with students from Grades 8 to 12.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
We are looking for enthusiastic Mathematics Teachers to join our team. This role involves teaching mathematics in the MYP & DP programs.
Implement instructional activities that create a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offer plans for improvement.
Maintain effective and efficient record-keeping procedures.
Provide a positive environment that encourages students to be actively engaged in the learning process.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis.
Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
Model professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and the community.
Ensure that student growth and achievement are continuous and appropriate for their age group, subject area, and/or program classification.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, parents, and schools.
Assume responsibility for meeting course and school-wide student performance goals.
Demonstrate gains in student performance.
Participate in training and presentations pertaining to professional development.
Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines and coordinating schedules.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
