• Age At least 26 years

• Professional teaching qualification or training will be an advantage.

• Strong academic knowledge of Mathematics appropriate for Std. VI to X.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an English Medium school.

• Experience teaching Edexcel Mathematics will be an advantage.

• Candidates with strong subject knowledge and relevant teaching skills may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured, and age-appropriate Mathematics lessons for students from Std. VI to X.

• Ensure learning through fun by using engaging, student-centred, and age-appropriate teaching methodologies that make mathematical concepts interesting, understandable, and relevant to students’ everyday lives.

• Develop students’ mathematical knowledge, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.

• Prepare effective lesson plans, teaching materials, activities, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.

• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using appropriate examples, practical applications, visual resources, and problem-solving strategies.

• Identify students’ individual learning needs and provide appropriate support, guidance, and enrichment to improve their academic performance.

• Regularly assess students’ learning through classwork, homework, class tests, examinations, and other appropriate assessment methods.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records, assessment records, and student progress reports.

• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students’ academic progress when required.

• Encourage students to participate in Mathematics competitions, Olympiads, projects, and other academic activities.

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, disciplined, and stimulating classroom environment.

• Use appropriate digital tools and educational technology to enhance Mathematics teaching and learning.

• Collaborate with colleagues and participate actively in departmental, academic, co-curricular, and school-wide activities.

• Uphold the school’s policies, professional standards, safeguarding requirements, and institutional values.

• Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of teaching practices.

• Perform other academic and professional responsibilities assigned by the School Authority.
