• Professional training or certification in Art Education will be an advantage.

• Candidates with relevant academic qualifications and strong practical artistic skills may also be considered.

Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in a school, preferably in English Medium/English Version institutions.

• Experience teaching students from KG to secondary level will be an advantage.

• Fresh graduates with exceptional artistic ability, communication skills, and a strong interest in teaching may also apply.

Required Competencies

• Strong knowledge and practical skills in drawing, painting, crafts, and visual arts.

• Ability to teach students of different ages and abilities.

• Creative, enthusiastic, patient, and student-focused approach.

• Good English communication and classroom management skills.

• Ability to develop innovative and engaging art activities.

• Strong teamwork, professionalism, and willingness to participate in school activities.

Art Teacher – KG to Higher Classes

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, age-appropriate Art and Creative Arts lessons for students from KG and above.

• Ensure learning through fun by incorporating child-friendly, engaging, and age-appropriate teaching and learning methodologies into lesson planning and classroom instruction.

• Foster students’ creativity, imagination, artistic skills, and appreciation of art.

• Teach and develop practical skills in drawing, painting, sketching, crafts, design, and other appropriate art forms.

• Prepare effective lesson plans, teaching materials, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.

• Assess students’ artistic progress and maintain accurate academic and developmental records.

• Encourage students to express their ideas, creativity, and individuality confidently through various forms of art.

• Organize and support art exhibitions, competitions, displays, school events, and other co-curricular activities.

• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, organized, and stimulating learning environment.

• Collaborate with class teachers and other faculty members to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide programmes.

• Uphold the school’s policies, professional standards, safeguarding requirements, and institutional values.

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of teaching practices.

• Perform other academic, co-curricular, and professional responsibilities as assigned by the School Authority.
