Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Professional teaching qualification or training will be an advantage.
Strong subject knowledge appropriate for teaching secondary and higher secondary Chemistry.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an English Medium school.
Experience teaching Edexcel Chemistry will be an advantage.
Experience in conducting and supervising school laboratory practicals will be highly desirable.
Candidates with strong subject knowledge, practical skills, and relevant teaching competencies may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured, and age-appropriate Chemistry lessons in accordance with the relevant Edexcel curriculum.
Develop students’ conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ensure learning through fun by incorporating interactive, student-centred, and age-appropriate teaching methodologies that make Chemistry interesting, understandable, and relevant to real-life situations.
Explain complex chemical concepts clearly through experiments, demonstrations, models, visual resources, practical activities, and real-life applications.
Plan and conduct laboratory experiments and practical activities in accordance with appropriate safety procedures.
Prepare effective lesson plans, teaching materials, practical work, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
Assess students’ learning through classwork, homework, practical work, class tests, examinations, and other appropriate assessment methods.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic, assessment, and student progress records.
Identify students’ individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support, guidance, and enrichment.
Provide constructive feedback to students and support them in improving their academic performance.
Encourage students to participate in science fairs, Chemistry competitions, projects, Olympiads, and other academic activities.
Promote students’ interest in scientific inquiry, experimentation, observation, and evidence-based thinking.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, disciplined, and stimulating classroom and laboratory environment.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of laboratory equipment and chemicals in accordance with school safety procedures.
Use appropriate digital tools, simulations, and educational technology to enhance Chemistry teaching and learning.
Collaborate with Science Department colleagues and other faculty members in academic, interdisciplinary, co-curricular, and school-wide activities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, colleagues, and school leadership regarding students’ academic progress and development.
