Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree from any discipline with having 2 years market system approach project implementation experience.
Job Context:
∎ KNB Agro Industries Ltd. is one of the fastest-growing animals feed manufacturers that has been operating in Bangladesh since 2012, with envision to provide quality products and services to enrich the agriculture sector of Bangladesh. To materialize this vision, KNB has adopted progressive agricultural practices, a dynamic and proactive management team, improved marketing techniques and modern processing in production facilities to enable the industry to improve its quality and expand production levels significantly. KNB already has satisfied with native market requirements of Fish & Poultry Farming Projects soon after established the feed mill to produce Floating Feed size 0.5mm, with capacity 18 tons/hour, completed by November 2016. Now KNB is greatly looking forward to entering the Ready-Feed market to serve and compete with other existing Feed Manufacturers in the region as well as in the world. It was awarded ISO 14001:2015 certification for maintaining high standards and regulations in production procedures.
∎ KNB is going to implement an innovative business model along with its existing distribution network in collaboration with WorldFish focusing on the southern parts of Bangladesh. The project duration will be one year and operation head office at Kushtia, Bangladesh. To accomplish the project task, KNB is looking for suitable candidates for the following position with relevant experience.
∎ Duration: One year (Sep`20 to Aug`21)
∎ Report to: Project Manager
∎ Location: Project area
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Select the dealers/sub-dealers following KNB standard, LSP and demo farmers
∎ Train up the feed dealer, LSP and fish farmer on aquaculture technology focusing BMP, nutrition and other cross-cutting issues
∎ Closely work with feed dealer, sub-dealer, LSP and farmer and establish an effective linkage among themselves
∎ Ensure the feed sale and profitability of the product, monitoring market trend and achieve the feed sales target
∎ Support market actors to conduct and facilitate farmers training according to target
∎ collect all types of information and updates the project activities and report to PM as required
Additional Requirements:
∎ Event organize, report writing and professional communication with relevant actors
