Job Responsibilities:
∎ Regular market visit, price monitoring, chart development and beneficiary communication.
∎ Carry out market study /analysis to understand the market demands and supply of selected commodities, producers’ capacity, existing products, markets and value chains, in the target area.
∎ Identify relevant market actors, potential enterprises, assesses end markets and develops value chain maps.
∎ Develop and organize market linkages plan that connects pre-identified buyers to EFSN GIGA/IIGA from SHGs.
∎ Conduct/Assist to facilitate the different training, workshop and other events celebrations under the project
∎ Support to develop training modules, tools and other materials
∎ Integrate producers (beneficiaries) into their supply chains and commercial distribution networks.
∎ Capacity building activities with SHG, Input Retailers, traders & other relevant market actors
∎ Develop and maintain working relationships with concerned departments, agencies, market actors, different associations, EFSN Shop, Aggregation Centers (ACs), partners and stakeholders.
∎ Strengthen linkage among input companies, community group leaders, SHGs and other leaders involved in IGAs/value chain and strengthen their capacity.
∎ Monitor effective implementation of project activities through regular field visits.
∎ Problem identification in marketing system and take initiative to solve the problems.
∎ Facilitate the development and expansion of relationships among buyers, input suppliers, producer groups for crops/fish/poultry and livestock's sectors and acts as focal point for promoting value chain and market system development.
∎ Facilitate linkages between traders/markets and beneficiaries and link producers to new market opportunities. Also collaborate and maintain relationships with the private sector.
∎ Provide field report to concern authority regularly and as or when necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years working experience in relevant field
∎ Strong team management skill.
∎ Skill in planning, implementing and budgeting.
∎ Have clear understanding on knowledge management, documentation and reporting skill.
∎ Experience on developing business plan and review
∎ Demonstrated inter-personal, negotiation and multi-tasking skills.
∎ Practicing innovation/creativity and achieving quality results and service.
∎ Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and PowerPoint presentation
∎ Able to drive motorcycle with valid driving license.
∎ Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
Salary: Tk. 55000 - 60000 (Monthly)
