Education, Experience and Skills requirements:

  • Post-Graduation degree from any reputed University. A higher degree in Economics/Banking & Finance/Business Administration/MBA/CA/FCA will be considered as an additional qualification.

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in any Bank or NBFI with at least 02 years of experience in the immediate previous position of MD. Holding the post of general manager in state-owned commercial banks or holding positions of senior executive vice-president (SEVP) or above in private commercial banks with officials having a minimum of 5 years experience as a branch manager

  • Demonstrated background in leading and managing critical projects with Good communication skills.

Competency:

  • Technology Oriented, Sound, Ethical and Moral standings

  • Ability to delegate tasks and ensure on-time completion of tasks at all levels in an efficient and effective manner

  • Ability to understand a complete situation quickly and come up with plans and execute on time

  • Good Communicator having both oral and writing skill.

Preference:

  • Experiences in various areas, including Credit Risk Management, Sales and Product Development, Portfolio Management, Branch Management, Credit Administration, Automation, and Human Resources, are preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

The Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer will report directly to the Chairman and the Board of Directors, assuming strategic leadership of the organization as the Chair of the Management Committee. This position presents a distinctive opportunity to shape a progressive operating framework, emphasizing technological advancement, transformational change, and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of products and business ventures.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, recovery strategies, technology, and operations management, with a strong focus on driving efficiency and fostering innovation. The candidate should be a strategic visionary with a hands-on, detail-oriented leadership style, capable of cultivating a culture of continuous improvement to facilitate sustainable growth and long-term success.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company’s goal and objectives both for the short-term and long-term through a business plan and strategies as per market and business demand.

  • Responsible for structuring and positioning the company at the forefront of the industry. Develop strategic plans and convert these plans into actions to advance the mission & vision of the company to achieve targeted revenue, profitability and growth ensuring customer service, operational excellence, management of risk and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulatory requirements while discharging routine functions of the company.

  • Responsible for upholding the high ethical standards of the company.

  • Developing and maintaining systems for the collection and storage of data throughout the organization, ensuring data quality and the implementation of effective IT systems & controls.

  • Design and implement robust operational systems and processes, particularly in risk management, compliance, and financial controls

  • Drive financial performance and ensure sustainable revenue growth through prudent financial management and strategic resource allocation.

  • Monitor financial metrics and develop action plans to achieve targeted financial results

  • Ensuring strict adherence to legal guidelines and internal policies to uphold the company’s compliance and business ethics.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, shareholders, clients, and employees.

  • Carrying out duties in accordance with legal requirements and diligently monitoring the activities of the Recovery Process.
