Additional Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 years of experience in financial management, including areas such as strategic finance, financial reporting and budgeting.
∎ Proficient in accounting software (Tally), financial analysis, and reporting tools.
∎ Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws.
∎ Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
∎ Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
∎ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ The role involves liaising with government and non-government offices, preparing company audit accounts for income tax, ensuring compliance with the VAT & Supplementary Duty Act 2012, and preparing and submitting TAX and VAT returns on time. The individual should have experience in personal and institution income tax, monthly TAX return submission, TAX deduction, and Income TAX ordinances. They should also handle VAT-related hearings, maintain TAX-related books, calculate VAT returns, and provide advice on company accounts and finance operations.
