Responsibilities & Context:
Establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an effective Pharmaceutical Quality system (PQS).
Oversight and approval of GMP-related documents including SOPs, BMRs, BPRs, protocols and reports.
Review and approval of deviations, OOS/OOT, change controls, risk assessments and related CAPA.
Final disposition decisions for starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk and finished products.
Approval, control, and review of analytical methods, specifications, test procedures, and standard operating procedures.
Oversight of sampling, testing and release of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples, bulk and fished products.
Ensuring qualification, calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Oversight of method validation, verification and transfer activities.
Ensuring compliance with data integrity principles, documentation practices and laboratory GMP requirements.
Approval and monitoring of stability studies and review of stability data.
Ensuring adequate training and GMP competence of QC personnel.
Support to internal audits, self-inspections and regulatory inspections.
