Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, shipment volume, and GP targets.
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in Freight Forwarding, Sea Freight, Air Freight, and Supply Chain Solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, overseas agents, partners, and other business stakeholders.
Negotiate freight rates, commercial terms, contracts, and long-term agreements with customers.
Handle RFQs, tenders, NAC/contract rates, and long-term rate negotiations.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and pricing strategies to identify new business opportunities.
Conduct regular customer visits, business development meetings, and sales presentations.
Coordinate closely with Operations, Pricing, Customer Service, Accounts, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
Develop and expand strategic trade lanes and consolidation business.
Participate in industry networking events, logistics conferences, and other business development activities.
Ensure achievement of assigned revenue, shipment volume, and Gross Profit (GP) targets.
Monitor customer credit exposure and ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables within approved credit terms.
Coordinate with the Accounts Department for regular follow-up and recovery of overdue customer payments.
Take necessary action to minimize overdue receivables and ensure that business growth is supported by healthy cash flow.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, market intelligence, credit recovery status, and business development reports for Management.
