Job Context:
∎ Cosmic Pharma Ltd. is looking for a Manager, Sales who is eager to formulate and execute Sales and marketing strategies that are yet to be rolled out in the Bangladesh pharmaceutical market.
∎ The ideal candidate will already have an intimate knowledge of the current market and will be looking for a company/management that is eager to execute and grow ideas that would otherwise not launch in more traditional companies.
∎ Articulate, adaptable, energetic and outgoing, the candidate must be positive and able to motivate others around him. He will ideally have an understanding/case studies of who domestic as well as international pharmaceutical companies became successful within their respective markets.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ In this role key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to-
∎ The candidate must have to build up his own sales team as per designed setup by the company.
∎ Lead the sales team spread across Bangladesh to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
∎ Developing and executing the company's sales and marketing strategies, campaigns, plans and measures to ensure success in achieving its short- and long-term strategic objective
∎ Evaluate the performance of Sales Forces on regular basis and provide motivation & support team members to achieve target and productivity
∎ Setting annual budgets and sales targets
∎ Managing the development of the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service plan annually
∎ Organize and manage all events and exhibitions (Internal and External)
∎ New brand launch & availability.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience: Manager, Sales must have had at least 10 years of working experience in a Pharmaceutical Company as a Manager, Sales/second line manager. The candidate must also have a proven and successful ability to lead a group of sales personnel towards growth in enhanced sales volumes and enhanced revenue generation, while displaying exceptional leadership skills and confidence. A suitable candidate will also have had experience evaluating product/market situations and analysing raw data and information, transforming it into actionable sales strategies and approaches.
∎ Communication Skills: Manager, Sales must possess exceptional communication skills that are especially important in enabling effective communication between his interactions with colleagues, team mates, consumers and external partners. The performance of junior sales personnel will also be highly dependent on the clarity of communication of information and instructions from Manager, Sales, making these skills a must have for the position.
∎ Communication skills are also absolutely necessary for the Manager, Sales when it comes to drafting reports and making presentations to consumers, senior sales management, stakeholders, or external partners. He must be able to tailor messages in relation to the audience at hand and to present even the most complex messages in clear, simple, digestible, and convincing terms. These skills must be excellent in both written and verbal form.
∎ Leadership Skills: A candidate for this position needs to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, portraying an ability to move and inspire a large group in a unified direction and vision. Being a representative of the business, he must also be a likable and approachable individual who is able to form strong and long-lasting relationships both internally and externally on behalf of the business.
