Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The Manager – Safety & Security is responsible for overseeing all security operations, safety compliance, manpower deployment, client service delivery, and risk management across assigned client locations. The role ensures professional security services, maintains client satisfaction, and implements safety standards in line with company policies and legal requirements.
a. Security Operations Management
• Supervise day-to-day security operations across all assigned sites.
• Oversee deployment of security personnel, shift management, attendance, discipline, grooming, and overall duty performance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, operational audits, and security surveys to ensure service quality and compliance.
b. Safety & Compliance Management
• Develop, implement, and enforce workplace safety, fire safety, emergency response, and occupational health policies.
• Conduct safety drills, emergency evacuation exercises, and awareness training programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events, recommending corrective and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with company security protocols, legal requirements, and partner expectations.
c. Risk, Crisis & Incident Management
• Assess security risks, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Respond promptly to emergencies including theft, fire, misconduct, security breaches, sabotage, or workplace violence.
• Lead investigations into internal security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire service, HR, Legal, and other relevant stakeholders when necessary.
d. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
• Lead, motivate, and manage security teams, supervisors, and field personnel to maintain operational excellence.
• Identify manpower requirements, support recruitment, and develop cost-effective deployment plans.
• Arrange induction, refresher, and specialized training programs, ensuring personnel are well-trained and accountable.
• Enforce discipline, performance standards, and company code of conduct.
e. Client & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain strong client relationships, address concerns promptly, and ensure high service standards.
• Conduct regular client meetings to review service quality, site requirements, and contract compliance.
• Support client retention, onboarding of new clients, and smooth coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
f. Reporting & Administration
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, performance analytics, and continuous improvement updates for senior management.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, deployment, attendance, overtime, leave, and site performance.
• Ensure all security-related documentation is properly maintained and verified for operational and billing purposes.
