  • The aptitude to develop and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the financial sector, with proven track record of managing asset-based portfolio in a reputed MFI/FI/ NBFI.

Job Purpose

The Manager, Projects & Propositions is accountable for driving growth and operational direction within the Microfinance Progoti portfolio. This role manages the full lifecycle of new products and initiatives, from identifying new client segments to successful implementation that delivers measurable results. The position also acts as a key liaison between operations and support functions, leveraging data analysis to optimize portfolio performance, inform operational decisions, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the identification of new client segments and opportunities to drive expansion and increase market penetration of Microfinance Progoti portfolio.

  • Collaborate with various support functions to facilitate the end-to-end implementation of new products, services, and process improvements ensuring a seamless transition from concept to execution.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between operations and other support functions, fostering strong cross-functional communication and alignment to achieve key business objectives.

  • Actively contribute to operation formulation and oversee the tracking and successful implementation of all operational initiatives, ensuring they align with programmatic goals.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis and categorize branches based on various risk parameters and prepare comprehensive reports to provide data-driven insights for management.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all projects and new initiatives.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and regulators ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding project status, challenges, and outcomes.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
