Job Responsibilities:
∎ The role
∎ The major role of this position is to coordinate the implementation of a complex multi-sectoral and multi-partner food security and nutrition project in collaboration with government actors and other stakeholders in the selected district. S/he will be responsible for providing day to day managerial and administrative support, as well as strategic guidance to the district implementation team for ensuring efficient, effective and coherent delivery of a set of nutrition specific and sensitive interventions with and through existing government systems. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring coordination between technical & implementing partners and other external stakeholders, particularly government and local actors. Responsibilities include; day to day supervision and management of implementing partners and producing high quality reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Qualifications and experience
∎ * At least 6 years’ experience in program implementation and coordination, preferably experience in field implementation of multi-sectoral food security, nutrition, health and/or livelihoods project, including 3 years in management position.
∎ * Strong coordination and partnership management skills with ability to work independently and under pressure
∎ * Experience of dealing with multiple partners and managing and supervising a large interdisciplinary team
∎ * Basic knowledge about challenges related to the implementation of program with GoB and multiple stakeholders on nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions.
∎ * S/he is expected to have sound understanding about the causes and consequences of under-nutrition among women, children and adolescent girls
∎ * Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Sciences/Management/Agriculture Science/ Public Health or relevant discipline

The Project Manager-DRR and EiE is mainly responsible for the overall implementation, monitoring, and supervision of EiE and DRR activities in Multi Purpose Cyclone Shelter (MPCS) and adjacent communities. S/he will supervise Project Officer/Senior Project Officer- EiE and DRR to implementation of EiE and DRR interventions and maintain accountability of the project activities following Save the Children and core humanitarian Standard. S/he will also provide support and enhance the capacity of government, partners and respective project staffs, including overall monitor their activities. The incumbent will provide technical inputs into the development, implementation and monitoring of the project and maintain close coordination with Save the Children field unit and collaboration with implementing partners.
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum 6 years of working experience, preferably in Education in Emergency (EiE) response, recovery and rehabilitation including Disaster Risk Reduction, including 3 years in management position.
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects related to DRR and EiE for children and young people, with a policy influencing dimension and proven experience on managing large projects.
* Excellent capacity building skill, especially the partners
* Ability to work in any situation during emergency
* Skill on expenditure tracking and monitoring
* Excellent communication skills in English & Bangla with the ability to produce quality analytical reports
* Master’s Degree, preferably in Disaster Management/Development Studies or relevant fields
