Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Manager - Program Operations is a key position in Empowering Girls through Education (EGE) project team and responsible for overall operation of the project.
∎ S/he will be responsible for planning, and developing efficient operation system of EGE activities, supporting the team including partner organizations in smooth operation of the project.
∎ S/he will maintain liaison with partner NGOs and government officials at central, district and local levels.
∎ S/he will also be responsible for assuring quality implementation in different areas of community mobilization, primary education, monitoring, and research.
∎ The Manager will responsible for managing and overseeing budgets and expenditure, implementation, procurement and reporting and will maintain a close liaison with all Partner NGOs and all stakeholders within Save the Children.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years of working experience in relevant field including 3 years in management position.
∎ Advanced knowledge about primary and secondary education in Bangladesh.
∎ Comprehensive knowledge and expertise on primary education curriculum, education policy, materials development, capacity development, ICT in education and quality education.
∎ Experience in educational project management, working with partners, CSOs and government offices.
∎ Familiar with the child marriage causes and effects, girls' education and life skills development.
∎ Good planning and coordinating skills
∎ Excellent monitoring and analytical skills
