Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

We are launching a new pharmaceutical API trading business in Bangladesh and are looking for a capable, commercially driven, and detail-oriented professional to support the operation. The role is ideal for someone with strong experience in the pharmaceutical supply chain, raw material sourcing, API procurement, and coordination with local pharma manufacturers and international suppliers.

The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting the API trading function, including sourcing, regulatory coordination, supplier development, customer relationship management, commercial negotiations, and end-to-end supply chain execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with local pharmaceutical companies for API and raw material sales.

• Handle sourcing, price negotiation, quotation preparation, and commercial discussions with overseas suppliers and local customers.

• Coordinate the full supply chain process from order confirmation to shipment, customs clearance, and delivery.

• Work closely with QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, and Procurement teams of pharma companies to support business development.

• Ensure timely collection and review of all technical and commercial documents related to API imports.

• Support source approval and product registration processes by coordinating with customers and suppliers on required documentation.

• Maintain strong follow-up on customer inquiries, pending quotations, purchase orders, shipment timelines, and receivables.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable regulatory and commercial requirements.
