Educational Requirements:
∎ Applicant should have a Master's degree in a subject of Social Science or in any discipline related to governance and development, Economics or Statistics. Advanced training on Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a senior member of the Monitoring, evaluation and Learning Unit, the Manager - MAEL will be responsible for the following:
∎ Support the coordination and implementation of all assigned program MEAL activities as outlined in the Policy and Procedures and Program Quality Principles;
∎ Monitor and report any MEAL-related challenges and gaps identified to inform adjustments to plans and implementation schedules.
∎ Assist project staffs in their efforts to reflect on project experiences;
∎ Support field-level project M&E activities including digital data collection and assisting project staffs in their efforts to collect and ensure produce timely evidence-based MEAL data as per reporting schedule;
∎ Lead the roll-out and implementation of feedback and response mechanism (FRM). Support actively seeking and responding to feedback from all members of targeted communities and other stakeholders as defined the FRM;
∎ Collect information on staff MEAL capacity needs and technical assistance needs of frontline staffs and monitor MEAL-related capacity building and technical support activities to ensure effective impact;
∎ Support program learning and decision-making by posing thoughtful questions, engaging with project data, reflecting upon and sharing with project management the information gathered from community members;
∎ Prepare event base, monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, annual and completion report including photos, case studies, graphs, video, etc. focusing the results in English or Bengali as per need; and
∎ Any other tasks assign by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 8 years' experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably in the non-profit sector, of which at least 5 years in a managerial capacity in the relevant field in a position in renowned national/international organizations. MEAL experience on governance sector and citizens' engagement will be given preference;
∎ Experience in Theory of Change results chain and logical frameworks and other strategic planning and project implementation approaches.
∎ Ability to obtain, analyze and evaluate a variety of information, organize, interpret and present them in meaningful oral or written forms for varied audiences and provide solid analysis leading to sound decision-making.
∎ Oral and written communication skills, in both Bangla and English to deal effectively with organizational management and staff, volunteers, relevant government agencies and donors.
∎ Ability to provide training on M&E development and implementation and facilitating learning-oriented analysis sessions of M&E data with multiple stakeholders.
∎ Willingness to undertake regular field visits and interact with different stakeholders, especially primary stakeholders.
∎ Sound computer skills that include good word processing skills both in Bangla and English, good command on the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.;
