Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Save the Children invites applications for the above mentioned position under the five-year USAID funded MaMoni-Maternal and Newborn Care Strengthening (MaMoni-MNCSP) Project. The major focus of this project is to contribute to Government of Bangladesh`s Health Population Nutrition Sector Program to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity through the project`s strategic objective of Increased Equitable Utilization of Quality Maternal and Newborn Care Services. Key outcomes of the project will be achieved through four closely linked intermediate results to advance health system responsiveness, MNC service quality and governance, access and demand for services and healthy household practices, and national capacity to deliver these services with quality at scale. This project will support implementation in 3 regions covering 10 Districts (Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Feni, Chandpur, Habigonj, Brahmanbaria, Manikgonj, Faridpur, Madaripur, Kushtia), in addition to providing national level technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to scale up evidence-based interventions and practices.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 years' experience in program M&E, particularly in maternal, newborn and child health related project.
∎ Experiences of working in partnership with MOH&FW and NGOs would be added value.
∎ Strong knowledge and experience on basic statistics and research methodology, MIS and report writing.
∎ Experience of dealing with government officials will be an advantage.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office package and statistical software e.g. SPSS/STATA
∎ Basic GIS skill will be an advantage e.g. Arc GIS/QGIS
