The Merchandising Manager for Bag and Luggage manufacturers is responsible for leading and managing the entire merchandising process, from product development to production, quality control, and for on-time delivery.

This role involves strategic oversight of the merchandising team, direct communication with buyers, and close coordination with suppliers and production units.

The position requires expertise in woven garment manufacturing, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to meet and exceed buyer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the merchandising team, ensuring alignment with the company`s objectives.

• Provide training and development opportunities to improve team performance and skills.

• Set and monitor KPIs for team members, conducting regular performance reviews.

• Fabric & accessories sourcing, price negotiation & procurement.Sample follow-up development, fit, PP, Top, and testingCosting, bulk budgeting & execution.

• ERP update.Capacity management - forecast from customer - capacity -booking with planning capacity utilization.

• Bulk order follow up & solve ongoing issues integrally with supplier & Customer.

• Internal & external communication.      

• Accessories & trims booking.

• Working experience with such buyers like- H&M, NEXT, IKEA, Intersport, Walmart
