Responsibilities & Context:
Your main responsibilities will include:
Planning and executing merchandising strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize sales and profitability
Analyzing market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed decisions on product selection, pricing, and inventory management
Developing and managing merchandising budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive sales and meet financial targets
Conducting regular store visits and market research to evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and address any potential issues
Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels
Overseeing product presentation and visual merchandising to create compelling and attractive displays that enhance the overall shopping experience
Monitoring competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the market and identify new opportunities for growth
Developing and implementing promotional strategies and campaigns to drive customer engagement and increase footfall
Providing guidance and direction to the merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven work environment
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives
