Job Context:
∎ Deshifarmer Limited, a leading agricultural company, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Manager, Marketing and Business Development. The ideal candidate should be at least 45 years old with a strong background in agricultural input sales and marketing. The primary responsibility of the Manager will be to oversee and manage all sales and marketing operations of the company. The candidate must have a proven track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs) and be capable of driving sales growth. The Manager will also be required to collaborate with channel partners and oversee the territory executive team and other sales personnel. This role will require strategic planning and result-oriented implementation to achieve business objectives.
∎ Working Conditions:
∎ Work Station at the company`s head office in Dhaka.
∎ The position may require occasional travel to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth in the agricultural sector.
∎ Set sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor progress towards achieving them.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key stakeholders to ensure effective distribution and market penetration.
∎ Lead and motivate the territory executive team and other sales personnel to achieve individual and team sales targets.
∎ Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
∎ Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including product launches, promotions, and advertising activities.
∎ Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly.
∎ Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights and feedback on customer needs and preferences.
∎ Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in agricultural inputs, including pesticides, and provide guidance to the team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on agricultural inputs.
∎ Strong background in agricultural sales, particularly in the area of Agri-input sales, is highly encouraged.
∎ Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth.
∎ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
∎ Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
∎ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
∎ Ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali.

Salary: Tk. 50000 - 60000 (Monthly)
