The candidate must have strong expertise as a Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitter (MAMF) in installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, including:
Pneumatic systems
Hydraulic systems
Computerized control systems such as PLCs and robotics
The applicant should also possess proven leadership ability to build and manage an effective maintenance organization.
Responsibilities & Context:
Ensure smooth operation and maximum efficiency of all automated production machinery.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of industrial machines.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and robotic system issues.
Repair and maintain automated production equipment including Speeding Machines, Long Arm Machines, APW Machines, and other related machinery.
Minimize machine downtime to support uninterrupted production operations.
Monitor machine performance and implement improvement initiatives for higher productivity and reliability.
Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
Maintain proper maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure timely maintenance support.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance resources effectively.
Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new machinery and automation systems.
