Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spreadhead SELP’s knowledge management, documenting outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices.

  • Develop communication materials, manage vendor communications, incorporate change stories, and ensure high-quality visual content.

  • Facilitate research activities, including surveys, tools development, data analysis, and collaborate on creating evidence bases for new initiatives to support future scaling.

  • Disseminate knowledge and communication materials to donors and stakeholders, ensuring strong visibility across platforms.

  • Maintain and manage the documentation system, ensuring publications are collected, registered, and shared internally and externally.

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy, including creating an annual plan and managing communication initiatives such as campaigns, events, and webinars.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of programme participants, people who come into contact with the organisation, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members, and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
