Job Context

Majumder Products Ltd., a leading agro-processing and edible oil manufacturing company in Bangladesh, is looking for a highly capable IT professional to manage our Odoo ERP system, on-premise server infrastructure, and overall IT operations.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth ERP operations across departments including Accounts, Purchase, Inventory, Production, Sales, HR, Maintenance, and Quality.

This role requires hands-on experience with Odoo ERP administration, Linux server management, database maintenance, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user support.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Odoo ERP operations and provide user support

• Administer Odoo users, access rights, roles, and permissions

• Troubleshoot ERP issues and coordinate with external developers/vendors

• Support implementation and optimization of Odoo modules including Inventory, Purchase, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, Maintenance, and Quality

• Manage on-premise Odoo application server and PostgreSQL database

• Monitor server performance, uptime, storage, and resource usage

• Configure and monitor automated backups and disaster recovery processes

• Maintain Linux servers, firewall, antivirus, VPN, and cybersecurity measures

• Manage office and factory IT infrastructure including LAN, WiFi, printers, barcode printers, scanners, desktops, laptops, NAS, and shared drives

• Support biometric attendance systems and user devices

• Handle data migration, Excel imports, reporting, and ERP data integrity

• Coordinate software updates, patches, testing, and deployment

• Support barcode-based inventory operations

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues

• Maintain documentation for IT assets, SOPs, credentials, and backup policies

• Ensure business continuity and system security
