Responsibilities & Context:

1. Supervise all electrical maintenance activities of the factory.

2. Ensure smooth operation of factory electrical systems, machinery, and utility equipment.

3. Troubleshoot electrical faults in production machinery, packaging machines, motors, control panels, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, compressors, chillers, boilers, and generators.

4. Maintain and monitor substations, transformers, LT/HT panels, MCC panels, power distribution systems, and earthing systems.

5. Prepare preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.

6. Reduce machine downtime through fast troubleshooting and proper maintenance planning.

7. Lead the electrical maintenance team and assign daily work to technicians/electricians.

8. Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts usage, and maintenance history.

9. Coordinate with production, mechanical, utility, and store departments.

10. Ensure electrical safety standards are followed inside the factory.

11. Monitor electricity consumption and suggest ways to improve energy efficiency.

12. Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems.

13. Report daily maintenance status and major issues to factory management.
