Education:

• Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Accounting
• Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Finance

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certification (CA, CMA, ACCA, or partly qualified) will be considered an added advantage.

• Prior experience in manufacturing or tiles/ceramics sector factory internal audits is preferred, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context: This role will be responsible for overseeing the factory internal audit function and team by developing and executing audit plans, ensuring strong internal controls, compliance, and operational efficiency, while identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Audits and Planning:

• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual factory internal audit plans covering production, procurement, inventory, HR, and compliance functions.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in factory operations.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and applicable government laws and regulations.
• Verify adherence to safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards (e.g., kiln emissions, hazardous materials).
• Identify risks, gaps, and non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions.

Operations and Process Checks:

• Audit procurement processes, including purchase rate analysis, quotation comparison, and local purchase verification.
• Verify inventory management through physical stock counts, raw material consumption, and finished goods movement.
• Check the accuracy of production records and review production processes.
• Verify civil construction and maintenance works, including measurement sheets and work completion certificates.
• Review payroll, overtime, and labor cost controls.

Reporting and Improvements:

• Prepare audit reports highlighting findings and recommended corrective actions.
• Provide practical recommendations for process improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Report audit findings to the concern and carry out any other tasks assigned by Head of Department.
