Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering
∎ Skills Required: Business/ Product Development, knowledge in IE, Production planning
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ SMV calculation for buyer costing, thread & accessories consumption.
∎ Prepare different type IE related report.
∎ Collection of line loading plan from the planning dept. & prepare operation bulletin.
∎ Inform & discuss line layout plan with a floor in charge & technical team.
∎ Discussion & necessary coordination with maintenance regarding m/c, folder, or attachment.
∎ Prepare operation bulletin and line layout for new style.
∎ Coordination with Factory manager for cut plan and finishing plan based on delivery priority.
∎ Coordination with the Human Resource department for training progress (fresh training and multi-skill training).
∎ Doing research and exploring new machinery and the latest systems that meet the company's long-term goals and preparing cost benefits analyses and ROI for the same.
∎ Must take initiative on lean manufacturing, and lean tools, and look for the scope of implementation in the factory.
∎ Overseeing IE section activities and need to take control over all activities to ensure that the industrial engineering techniques are adopted adequately in the manufacturing process.
∎ Take necessary steps to minimize wastage and loss in all operating areas.
∎ Increase productivity and efficiency through Method Study, Method Re-engineering, Motion study, Time study, Line balancing.
∎ Calculate non-productive time, reduce defects and wastage, garments manufacturing process breakdown, perfect machine layout.
∎ Find bottlenecks, technical difficulties and quality related issues.
∎ Prepare production layout for the floor for effective utilization of man, machine and materials and analyzing productivity and calculate efficiency.
∎ Implementing innovations to reduce cost and increase productivity.
∎ Analysis root case of low production and collect lost time against low production and clarify.
∎ Monitor line-wise production report on hourly output basis and study individual operator's performance.
∎ Ensure all line man & m/c in just time as per loading plan.
∎ Train up all line chief, supervisor, production officer about how to improve Productivity & Efficiency%, also maintain 5s.
∎ Paper Layout & SMV, Daily Line Target set, Operator skill matrix update, SMV Database update follow up.
