Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc./ M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering/ MIS.
∎ Candidates having professional certifications in the related field will get preferences.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and confirm expected performance of Applications, Data Management, Communications, Equipment and Support.
∎ Oversee day-to-day operations of the IT team, providing effective leadership, supervision and a safe working environment for the team.
∎ Keep the end user in mind: lead the IT team to troubleshoot specific hardware and software issues to ensure maximum approved user accessibility and operations of the systems.
∎ Ensure successful deployment of all technology initiatives within budget and on time.
∎ Assist CEO/ACEO on development of annual IT budget and optimize its utilization to ensure compatibility.
∎ Ensure that staffs remain current with new ICT developments and best practices; provide/manage in-house training as required.
∎ Oversee vendor relations.
∎ Develop, implement and maintain security plans and procedures to ensure data retention and security.
∎ Assist CEO/ACEO on physical infrastructure planning and construction as it relates to technology requirements.
∎ Coordinate with other departments in order to understand and meet their technological requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years practical leadership experiences in the ICT department in reputed organizations.
∎ Adequate knowledge in software development.
∎ Adequate proficiency in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting the following: HTTP, SSO, TCP/IP, VPNs, LANs, WLANs, VLANs, SAN, MX records, virtualization, routing, switching, firewall, antivirus, load balancing, monitoring tools etc.
∎ Adequate knowledge in active directory and server configuration
∎ Vendor certification on different technologies will be preferred.
∎ Creative, analytical and proactive problem solver.
∎ Positive attitude demonstrating initiative and drive.
∎ Effective leadership and management skills.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure.
∎ Ability to work independently within a team-orientated environment meeting all deadlines.
∎ Effective English language communicator (both conversational and technical/verbal & written)
