Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting Information System, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounts & Finance
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CIMA, ACCA qualified or CA partly qualified will be given priority

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets.
∎ Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets.
∎ Ensure proper tagging and barcoding for proper tracking of organization’s assets.
∎ Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system. Manages asset management and disposition of inactive and obsolete assets by tracking inventory, costs, movement and disposition
∎ Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the summary-level account in the general ledger.
∎ Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets, review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
∎ Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets.
∎ Conduct periodic physical counts of fixed assets.
∎ Recommend to management whether fixed assets should be disposed of.
∎ Conduct analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management.
∎ Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.
∎ Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.
∎ Manage and oversee physical assets of an organization, including buildings, equipment, and inventory.
∎ Manage the maintenance of all physical assets of an organization by planning, organizing, and directing operational activities
∎ Assist in the development of strategic asset management plans
∎ Ensure that all physical assets are in compliance with safety, environmental, and building codes,
∎ Oversee the procurement and disposition of surplus assets
∎ Develop inventory control system of the physical assets.
∎ Good knowledge about assets revaluation procedures.
∎ Reviews asset information, such as warranties, manufacturer warranties, maintenance and service agreements, and regulatory compliance (EPA, OSHA etc.)
∎ Play pivotal role in software development regarding assets in order to proper distribution and revaluation of assets.
∎ Prepare reports regarding asset status on a timely basis and submit it to higher authority.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Computer Literacy: MS Office (Excel/ Word/ Power Point) and ERP Software.
∎ Strong written and verbal communication in English
